Veterinarian
Dr. Elizabeth Rogers is a native of Fort Worth and a graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced as a veterinarian for 14 years, including 2 years at All Care Veterinary Hospital in Coppell and the last 12 years at Animal Medical Center of Plano. She is excited to start the next chapter in her life with Family Friends Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Rogers enjoys the various challenges that veterinary medicine brings to her, especially the ones from internal medicine and surgery. While the majority of her patients are cats and dogs, she also enjoys working with the following exotic small mammals:
- Rabbits
- Ferrets
- Chinchillas
- Guinea Pigs
- Hamsters
- Rats
- Gerbils
- Mice
She takes pride in continually evolving her knowledge and techniques of veterinary medicine with continuing education, which is essential in her constantly expanding profession. Dr. Rogers has also enhanced her knowledge and skills by spending time working at the Emergency Clinic of Collin County.
Dr. Rogers’ love of animals has always been near to her heart, and she has often had animals in her life. She currently has a chocolate lab named Audrey, and a rabbit named Willow. Both of these animals were adopted from animal rescue groups.
Dr. Rogers tries to balance her work and her personal life. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, dog walking, spending time with her church group, cooking (she’s an excellent cook), and avidly reading a book.
